Manish did civil engineering from Savitribai Phule University, Pune in 2016, after which he worked as a civil engineer for two and a half to three years. In he also became the project manager in a very short time, due to which he started earning a lot of money.
But he felt that the country needed him not as a civil engineer but as a journalist. After this, he decided that he would leave the job as a civil engineer and he did the same. He left his lucrative civil engineer job and moved to Bihar on 13 July 2018 created a YouTube channel named Sach Tak on YouTube which currently has 1.01 million subscribers.

Fake news of migrant laborers from Bihar being thrashed in Tamil Nadu is being spread
In March 2023, an FIR was lodged against Manish Kashyap for spreading fake news about the thrashing of migrant workers from Bihar in Tamil Nadu through his channel Sach Tak News and other social media handles.
FIR No. 03/2023 registered u/s 153, 153(a), 153(b), 505(1)(b), 505(1)(c), 468 IPC at Economic Offenses Unit, Patna, Bihar Was. , 471, 120(B), and IT Act 67. Many politicians and social activists from Bihar and other states condemned this action and asked the state government to withdraw the FIR. Later, a fake post went viral with an old picture of Manish Kashyap claiming that he has been arrested, in which he was arrested and seen handcuffed.
