Actress Shruti Haasan has been cast in the lead role, Kannada actor Madhu Guruswamy is set to play a pivotal role, and actress Easwari Rao has been signed to play Salar’s mother. Jagapathi Babu joined the cast, whose character was revealed to be Rajamanar. Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has started talks to play a pivotal role in the film which also stars Shriya Reddy.
